Boldly Forward, Never Alone: Fellowship Pacific & Sunnybrae

On August 4-9, Sunnybrae Bible Camp in the Shuswap hosted the third annual Ministry Workers Family Camp. This camp is made possible through a partnership between Fellowship Pacific and Sunnybrae and was attended by ministry families from throughout our region. Children, youth, and adults attended chapel together, played games, rode horses and ponies, competed in a variety of individual and team activities, and went away making new friends and feeling refreshed and renewed. Pastor Paul Park from South Delta Baptist brought some great insights in chapel on The Anxious Generation. It was especially nice to relax, hang out with other ministry workers, and hit reset on our busy ministry lives. This is a great opportunity for church boards to bless their staff and invest in their well-being.

Kyle Reddemann, Assistant Director and Program Director, shares his insight, “Each year the Ministry Worker’s camp reaches new heights. This year in particular, the building blocks that have been laid over the first two years came to life. Friendships were solidified amongst the kids who had spent only one or two weeks together before, now felt like lifelong friends. Ministry workers and our summer staff who could share about life, and be encouraged and refreshed by one another, walked away with the same acknowledgements that we are all in ministry together. Ministry Worker’s camp advanced to a place where it was always meant to be, a place where the growth and encouragement in the body of Christ is seen over all the different generations attending.”
