We are accepting nominations for the 2021/2022 Selection Committee.

At the April 30, 2021 AGM, it was agreed to delay the choosing of a Selection Committee until we could next meet in person at the October 2021 Impact event. The current Selection Committee agreed to continue in this role until that time. As you know, that event was subsequently cancelled due to the current health-crisis and since this committee has now served for two terms, the Regional Board has decided to move forward with electing a new Selection Committee. 

According to the Fellowship Pacific Bylaws, the Selection Committee consists of the President of Fellowship Pacific, the Regional Director, a representative from Northwest Baptist Seminary Board of Governors and four individuals nominated and elected from the Convention floor.

As an in-person gathering is not possible this year, we are now seeking nominations electronically. Thank you to Zach Yaciw, Richard Campeau, Garry Firth and Barry Nielson for their continued service on this committee. Each of them is eligible to be nominated again if they wish. 

Individuals and member churches are invited to submit nominations for the 2021-2022 Selection Committee by completing the nomination form below.

Nominations will be open until December 1, 2021.  

Once the nomination process is complete, member churches will be invited to elect the new Selection Committee for 2021-2022 via electronic ballot. One representative from each church will be asked to complete and submit the ballot and the number of votes per church will be determined based on the membership of the church.
