Church Leaders on Mission (Board Training)

Welcome to Board Training!

What’s the driving force behind a healthy, thriving church?

The first answer that comes to mind may not be “my church board”—but that’s exactly what you’ll discover through this training. One of the foundational aspects of a healthy church is having a healthy board.

The work you put into structuring and operating effectively as a board is time well spent, helping your church achieve its unique mission, vision, and values. This course will guide you every step of the way!

And perhaps most surprising of all—you’ll discover how to experience joy along the journey.

There are two options available to take this course: Online and In Person

Online Training Resource

This online course has been intentionally designed to be adaptable, so you can go through the material in the way that works best for you. We’ve made sure to break the information down into smaller, manageable chunks so you can take it one step at a time with as much time for reflection between concepts as you need!

In-person Training

Church Leaders on Mission is our Fellowship Pacific board training and is offered throughout the year across the region.

It is organized into three sessions, each of which is approximately two hours long and is also available with customizable components to help individual church boards work toward effective leadership goals. Your team will take a comprehensive look at church board governance guidelines, board leadership principles, and a “how to” guide for church policy development.

We recommend that your board go through this training on an annual basis, especially after new members have joined the board!

We also offer a session on personal leadership growth initiatives, asking the question: How are you doing as a leader? This session will challenge you to dig deeper and reach further in your capacity as a leader within the context of your local church.

Church leaders are entrusted with missional responsibility, empowered with servant-hearted authority, and held to biblical accountability.
