Mike Mawhorter serves on the Connect team, with his responsibilities including pastoral placement.

Mike received a BA in Business Administration from Cedarville University, Master of Religious Education from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary, and Doctor of Ministry from Trinity Western University. He pastored Fellowship churches for 38 years—at Fellowship Baptist, Markham ON; Central Fellowship Baptist in Prince George; and Ladner Baptist in Delta.

Mike has also been involved in the Fellowship both regionally and nationally in a variety of roles, and loves to see people grow in their love for God and others.

Mike is married to Kathy and they have four children, 23 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild (and counting…).

When not working, Mike enjoys riding his motorcycle and being Papa.
