Commons Class: Adoption with Barton Priebe – Session 3

This Commons Class will be led by Barton Priebe, President of Northwest Seminary & College. Barton will be teaching three live sessions on the doctrine of Adoption and how the right understanding of this doctrine can be so powerful in the formation of your church.

Class Dates
The live sessions will be held May 18, June 1, and June 22 from 11:00am-12:30pm with facilitated discussions happening in the exclusive affinity group in between each session.

About Barton
Barton Priebe is the President of Northwest Seminary, known for his love of leadership, team building, and vision-casting. With a background in church ministry and a passion for equipping people for service, Barton holds a D.Min. in New Testament Studies and has authored publications including "Adopted by God: Discover the Life-Transforming Joy of a Neglected Truth" and "The Problem with Christianity: Six Unsettling Questions You Have Asked." He enjoys spending time with his family and pursuing interests in cycling, skiing, hiking, and reading, making him a dynamic leader whose voice resonates in his preaching, teaching, and love for the outdoors.

What is a Commons Class?

Commons Classes are designed to provide a range of learning opportunities that are relevant to pastors and church leaders and cover a wide range of topics that are essential for the growth of churches, including leadership, management, evangelism, discipleship, and theological depth.

Each cohort runs for a period of 6-12 weeks, composed of 2-4 sessions that are spaced 1-4 weeks apart. During these sessions, the expert guest speaker leads the participants through the cohort, providing them with practical insights, skills, and knowledge on the topic. In between sessions, participants will have the opportunity to interact with each other in a private affinity group where they will have the chance to discuss questions, ideas, and experiences connected to the topic.
